Concrete Sealing & Coating

Concrete Sealing & Coating: illustrative before-and-after comparison of the same setting

A concrete sealing or coating request begins with identifying the surface and the result you want. A sealer and a coating are not treated as interchangeable names for one standard treatment. Existing finish, visible condition and intended use help define what can be assessed. Garage floor coatings are not offered and are outside this service.

A surface can look ready for a new finish while still presenting compatibility or preparation questions. Prior products, visible cracks, staining and moisture concerns need review before selection. We discuss the proposed appearance and work boundary without promising that a finish will hide every mark, repair the concrete structure or correct the source of a moisture problem.

During the working visit, show us the concrete area and share any records of previous products. We review suitability, preparation, access, scope and price before approval. The selected product guides application and return-to-use arrangements. No waterproof, slip-proof, fixed-lifespan, load-capacity or warranty outcome is promised, and structural repair or moisture remediation is not included in the finish work.

For concrete sealing & coating, the agreed work can include identification of the eligible concrete area and intended use; review of prior finishes and visible surface condition; sealer or coating suitability and appearance discussion; agreed preparation and finish application; product-specific use and care handoff. We confirm the included tasks, materials and price with you before work begins.

Questions about concrete sealing & coating

Do you offer garage floor coatings?

No. Garage floor coatings, including epoxy garage-floor projects, are excluded.

Are sealing and coating the same task?

Not automatically. The selected product and intended result determine the approach reviewed onsite.

Can a new finish go over any old coating?

No. Existing layers and product compatibility must be assessed.

Will coating repair structural cracks or moisture problems?

No. Structural repair and moisture remediation are outside this finish scope.

Will the result be waterproof or slip-proof?

No such performance guarantee is made.

When can the finished area be used?

Follow the arrangements for the selected product and conditions; drying and curing do not have one universal timetable.
