A Thoughtful Starting Point
At Keystone Handyman, we believe fair pricing starts with understanding where the work will be performed and what the project actually requires.
We don’t use one blanket rate across every community we serve. The cost of providing dependable professional service can vary by location, travel and operating requirements, and local market conditions.
Your estimate takes those differences into account, along with the scope, complexity, materials, and access conditions of the work itself. Our goal is a price that makes sense for the customer, the location, and the project.
Reviewed Weekly
Markets change. Operating costs change. The needs of the communities we serve change, too. That’s why Keystone doesn’t set a price and forget about it for years.
We review our service-area rates every week to evaluate whether they remain current, fair, competitive, and appropriate for each area. A review may lead to a change, or it may confirm that the current rate still makes sense.
Weekly review means ongoing attention to pricing. It does not mean every rate changes every week.
Your Location Matters
A single company-wide rate may sound simpler. But pricing every customer according to our highest-cost market could mean customers in other communities pay more than necessary.
We take the service location into account so one community is not automatically priced according to the cost of serving another.
Serving multiple communities doesn’t mean every community costs the same to serve. Your estimate starts with the pricing basis appropriate to where your project will actually happen.
Weekly reviews help us keep evaluating that basis using current conditions, rather than relying on a rate sheet that was created years ago and forgotten.
The Work Matters, Too
Your project’s location helps determine the appropriate service-area pricing basis, including relevant travel and operating requirements.
We look at the work you actually need completed, rather than assuming every repair list is the same.
Specialized work, difficult access, unusual conditions, or additional time can affect what a project requires.
The materials and supplies needed for your project may affect the final estimate.
Every property is different. Other legitimate requirements of the work may also affect the estimate.

Our goal is not to win every project by being the cheapest option, or to inflate a price simply because the market might allow it. It is to communicate clearly, schedule dependably, respect your home, and provide value for what you pay.
You should have an opportunity to understand the estimate and the work it covers before moving forward.

Your project isn’t priced using a random number. Your location is considered, your actual project requirements matter, and your estimate uses current information.
That gives us a more meaningful starting point than posting one number and pretending every home, project, and community is identical.
